This Saturday 1/12 monthly breakfast (KAAO) 7-11 am. No Young Eagles due to the current weather forecast. Breakfast prices have gone up $1 as of last months breakfast.
1/12 KOSMO 427 will hold their annual meeting 12-6 pm. This is the local model rocket club that donated the launch system to the chapter for our rocket camps. The chapter is welcome to attend, their will be a $6 charge for lunch. Steve Hamous chapter 88's Education/Youth Activities Chairman is preparing his famous BBQ. If you plan on attending please let Bill know by Thursday so I can get a head count to Steve. Please also bring a side dish.
Monday 1/14 @ 6:30 we will hold a planning meeting on the EAA Bi-Plane that the chapter will build. This airplane belongs to member Nancy Cullen, we have agreed to help Nancy build the plane.
Saturday 1/19 5:00 pm 56th Annual Air Capital Fly-In Planning meeting. At 6:30 pm we will hold a burger burn. We are asking that everyone brings a side dish or desert. The chapter is furnishing the burgers, buns, table service. General Membership Meeting 7:00 pm: You won't want to miss this meeting as our guest speaker is Mrs. Monica Riggs, Mrs. Kansas and a KC-135 pilot at McConnell AFB.Plan on arriving early as we have invited several of the local aviation groups to attend.
